I DO have all of the information including I hope that someone can help me resolve this issue, because I am kind of upset that I paid for a game that did not work. I don't know what to do in this situation, and since this game is old, information is scattered. Videos on YouTube about fixing these games didn't help either, because they usually talk about Windows 7 or Windows 8.1. I have looked up online for a Windows XP patch for MM2 or MM1, I could hardly find anything from a research standpoint. MICROSOFT MIDTOWN MADNESS 2 CD IS VERIFIED." and after about 10-14 seconds, the application closes, and if I click the game icon again, it repeats. But, there is this screen that pops up AFTER the installation (before you even play) that says "LOADING.PLEASE WAIT WHILE THE To elaborate on the issue for MM2, the game installs just fine. I click on the game icon again, the same process happens again. The game will load the setup screen, it will take me through all the steps, and then the screen I get stuck at is "Verifying is MM2 is genuine" and nothing else happens, the screen closes after about 10 seconds. I am not concerned about this game, just confused. It takes a hefty time to load and kinda crashes sometimes. MM1 is the better of both games, and by that I mean that it partially works. I have been experiencing some issues with both of the games. Recently, I have bought both MM1 and MM2 to play on my Dell Latitude D510.
